Ouachita Enrichment Centers, Inc. is committed to providing services for adults that encourage independence, self-sufficiency, and community integration . To fulfill this commitment, we offer a variety of choices among our programs which allow each individual, with the help of specially trained case managers, to choose a path specifically designed to achieve their personal goals. In addition, our day service programs are designed to provide an opportunity for individuals to make friends while participating in employment, educational, and social activities.
Adult Development
Adult Development is a facility based program providing specialized habilitation services to adults who have been diagnosed as developmentally disabled. Qualifying individuals must be between 18 and 21 years of age with a diploma or certificate of completion, or age 21 or older. Adult Development Services are geared toward socialization and educational activities and may include prevocational services.

ACS Medicaid Waiver
ACS Waiver Services are governed by the Department of Developmental Disabilities. An array of individually tailored services are offered through this program to enable eligible individuals to reside successfully in their own home or other community based setting.

Arkansas Rehabilitation Services (ARS)
Arkansas Rehabilitation Services are provided in conjunction with Ouachita Enrichment Centers, Inc. These services are for persons who are recovering from an injury, job displacement, change of life circumstance, or are developmentally disabled who are interested in job training and/or placement.
Services available through this association include initial psychological testing, 10 day assessment, work adjustment, and extended services. Information obtained through these initial services is used to plan and determine long-range opportunities for consumers.

Supported Employment
Job placement and job coaching are just part of the services we provide through our supported employment program. In order to give each individual the best possible chance of success in integrated employment, Ouachita Enrichment Centers helps consumers learn the necessary skills to maintain those positions. Instruction in soft skills including completing job applications, dressing for interviews and practicing for job interviews are also a part of this important service.

Ticket to Work
The Ticket to Work and Self Sufficiency program was created to give Social Security disability beneficiaries an avenue to achieve economic self-support through work. Ouachita Enrichment Centers has been selected to participate in the Ticket program and through this program we provide employment support services that afford Ticket Holders the opportunity and support to prepare for, obtain, and retain career ladder jobs that will enable them to leave and remain off cash benefits.

Ouachita Enrichment Centers provides jobs to consumers while providing important services to the community. These services include recycling, parts assembly, and lawn care. Jobs under a special 14(c) certificate are available to eligible consumers in each of these areas.
